North Group were appointed as main contractor for refurbishment works at both the existing and new helicopter simulator building in Dyce.

Within the old building North refurbished the existing offices, briefing rooms, classrooms and toilets. This included the supply and fitting of new doors, suspended ceilings and carpets as well as general decoration and electrical works. Following on from this we were asked to make improvements to the entrance and reception areas. As part of the work, new entrance screens were fitted and a reception desk manufactured and installed.

At the new simulator facility we were contracted to erect new office facilities within the building. This comprised erecting stud partitions and a timber framed roof over the office partitions, manufacturing, supplying and fitting doorsets for both office doors and fire doors, general decoration, flooring and electrical works and the design, supply and installation of an air conditioning system.
