North Group are pleased to announce the completion of a total strip out and refurbishment project at 214 Union Street, Aberdeen.

Our team collaborated with Stewart Stevenson Architects to deliver a modern reception area and co-working office space for the Centrum Offices serviced office brand as it expands into Aberdeen for the first time. The finished scheme showcases our high-quality bespoke fabrication capability as well as our site trades expertise.

Our team of experienced joiners crafted new booth seating with steel-framed timber baffles and built-in bench seating. Our in-house joinery workshop manufactured Stewart Stevenson Architect’s purpose designed high and low level work desks, which encompassed steel framing supplied by A J Engineering & Construction Services. We also installed a large suspended timber baffle system above the main entrance area, with a smaller version above the granite-faced reception desk, which was also manufactured by our workshop.

As part of the fit-out, Komfort created two new flexible office / meeting rooms using their Polar Single Glazed partitioning system which introduced the innovative Sonik doorset in its first use in a construction project.

On top of this Westend Glass & Glazing Ltd installed a new glass wall frontage around the central core of the reception area.
